Start from Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and walk along cobbled streets; Sannenzaka Slope, Ninenzaka Slope, and Nene-no-michi. Strolling along this course, you'll encounter many historic sightseeing spots .Ttraditional Kiyomizu-yaki or ceramicware shops, Japanese sundried shops, and Kyoto cuisine restaurants conveniently line up along the streets.

When temple grounds are covered with cherry blossoms or turning leaves, temples and their precints are lit up at night to create a gorgeous spectacle. In March, Hana-tourou Festival is held and numerous lanterns on the grounds along the streets make picturesque views.
